Mr. Serrano Gonzalez, Education Counselor at the Spanish Embassy in Switzerland came to visit us on 26th April with his assistant Mrs. Alvarez Garcia to meet with the Director General Mr. Power and the language department (Mrs. Druet and Mrs. Rana Vasquez) and discuss the promotion of Spanish in teaching centers in Switzerland.
Florimont, a French-speaking school with a strong language component, has been involved in the promotion of Spanish language for a long time and organizes seminars to encourage good linguistic practices between Geneva teachers and Spanish-speaking speakers. Students have participated for years in language trips, writing contests, the Geneva Filmar festival, among others.
We are looking forward to this collaboration to implement more enriching projects for the entire Florimontaine community.
