Built on over a century of experience, Institut Florimont offers the best of the Swiss, French and international education systems to all students, from kindergarten to high school graduation. With its unique blend of tradition and modernity, the Institut provides educational excellence in STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) and is dedicated to developing personal skills through collective community activities.
Florimont has formed many cultural and sporting partnerships with local organisations, placing great importance on developing artistic and physical skills.
Florimont offers French/English bilingual teaching from Maternelle (kindergarten), with students choosing between the two streams when they enter Secondaire 2 (Diplomas). Institut Florimont is the only private school in Geneva to prepare students for three Diplomas: the French Baccalauréat, International Baccalaureate and Swiss Maturité. All three programmes are taught over four years and we fully support students and their families to decide on the most suitable option.
Florimont consistently produces outstanding examination pass rates, opening the doors to the top schools and universities. Careers guidance is available to students and their families, giving information and advice to compile a personal career plan for applying to universities and schools in Switzerland and internationally. All students are offered individual consultations and various resources to produce their career plan. A range of events are held throughout the year – the Forum des études (career fair) and university visits – to help students make these important decisions.
