Welcome to Admissions

Are you interested in enrolling your child at Institut Florimont? The Admissions team is here to help!

Every child is unique. Getting to know your child and finding out what they enjoy is really important to us, as is understanding the choices you make as parents. The reason is simple: we want to help every child reach their full potential, so we have to be sure our advice is best suited to their needs from the very start.

And that’s why we want to meet you in person. By spending time talking and listening to each other and by asking the right questions, we can guide you to make the right choice for your child now and at every step of their education.

When you come and meet Brice Clerc, our Head of Admissions, you’ll have the opportunity to understand how Florimont works, tour the campus and see our facilities, and find out for yourself what makes our school community so special.

From your first visit, you’ll see how we bring our core values of curiosity, excellence and kindness, upheld since the school opened in 1905, into our outlook today.

We look forward to meeting you soon!

Why choose Florimont?

Built on over a century of experience, Institut Florimont offers the best of the Swiss, French and international education systems to all students, from kindergarten to high school graduation.

At Florimont, we believe school is not just about academic learning: rather it is a process which combines the art of learning with the art of living and of being yourself. We are intent on supporting every one of our students to reach their potential and flourish as they move on through life – long after their time at Florimont is over.

Since the school’s foundation in 1905, our purpose has been to produce free-thinking and discerning individuals with a passion for life, a strong sense of community and tolerance, and to promote our long-held values of solidarity and support.

Every step is taken at Institut Florimont to maintain a caring community, with teaching, support and administrative staff working as a team to ensure your child’s development and success.

Just a few minutes from Geneva’s city centre, our campus has recently benefitted from significant investment with the installation of state-of-the-art facilities, creating a modern and sustainable place to learn and work.

What we offer

We accept students from 3 to 18 years, from kindergarten to entering university, and prepare them for three diplomas – Swiss Maturité, French Baccalauréat and IB – giving every student the choice of the programme which suits them best.

Bilingual (French/English) learning is available from the youngest classes and tailored to each child’s linguistic level.

Florimont has formed many cultural and sporting partnerships with local organisations, placing great importance on developing artistic and physical skills.

Our Arts/Sports programme is available to students in Cycle (11 years and up) who practice an arts or sports discipline to a high level, providing an adapted timetable so they can maintain the highest levels of academic study alongside the pursuit of their artistic or sporting endeavours.

Solidarity and openness to others are fundamental to our values; we encourage our students to show their personal skills by participating in community activities and charitable projects. By supporting a local organisation such as Fondation Aigues-Vertes or taking part in our cultural season, every Florimont student learns the importance of commitment from day one.
