We believe in the power of teamwork and collective effort and are proud of our outstanding partners in all fields.

Florimont’s philosophy

Our community consists of exceptional partners who share our beliefs; like us, they are committed to helping our students push their limits, find new areas of interest or support a cause close to their heart.

Whether a sports or cultural partnership with our school, or a charity or community organisation, we love working with key players on long-term collaborations to benefit our local area. Many of our partners are established features in Geneva’s socio-economic landscape and we are always looking for new partnership opportunities, building on our reputation as a community-minded school, a genuine école de la Cité.

We have formed partnerships with some of Geneva’s most iconic sports institutions, such as the Grenat (Genève Servette Hockey Club, Servette Football Club and Servette Rugby) of which we are the official sports study partner. We are also involved in high-level events like the annual Escalade race and the Gonet Geneva Open.

The variety of these partnerships gives our students and wider community access to new disciplines, advanced training and competitions.

We also partner with institutions and sports academies to benefit students on our Art/Sport track, such as Geneva’s Hôpital de la Tour which offers personalised sport health monitoring.

Whether with institutions, artists or continuing education providers, our artistic and cultural partnerships enrich knowledge and open up new perspectives for our students, facilitating many artistic and cultural projects in the school.

We have a historical connection with multiple partners, among them Société de Lecture, Ariana Museum, MAMCO and Haute Ecole de Musique; Compagnie 7273 and Ensemble Contrechamps joined our community more recently with the creation of our cultural season, “Encré” dans la culture.

Helping other people is central to Florimont’s mission. Every year we work with a charitable organisation, combining our efforts to support a cause or specific project. Everyone from students and families to staff gets involved, strengthening the bonds in our community – working together towards a common goal, we are united by our family spirit, Esprit Flo.

This year we have been working with the Partage food bank to help the needy in our local area.

We maintain close links with many schools and institutions in Switzerland and further afield. Whether developing relationships with academic bodies such as University of Geneva or EPFL, or school associations, we are always striving to find partners who share our forward-looking vision.
