On January 18th, Institut Florimont had the honour of hosting an engaging conference by Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Co-organized by the Franco-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFS), Horizon Léman Association, and the International Circle of the Foundation for Geneva, the event brought together 120 participants under the theme “Architectures of the Future?”
As an architect, urban planner, and designer, a member of the Academy of Fine Arts since 2015, and founder of the architecture firm Wilmotte & Associates, Jean-Michel Wilmotte allowed everyone to dive into the heart of his creative universe. He showcased some of his most iconic projects, ranging from completed ones to ongoing and even confidential endeavors. These highlighted his incredible talent and visionary spirit, portraying him as an advocate for the revitalisation of historic structures. This commitment is evident through the foundation he created and the W Prize, an international architecture competition promoting the convergence of heritage and contemporary creation.
