Launched in 2020, the Art/Sport programme is open to students practicing an artistic discipline or a sport at a high level, as well as to those who wish to build a project in one of these fields.

It allows enrolled students to benefit from a timetable adapted to their artistic or sporting needs, while maintaining a high level of academic standards. Afternoons are dedicated to the practice of the students’ artistic or sporting disciplines, with the exception of Mondays and Fridays, which are used to provide support in the form of supervised study to prepare for the following week’s homework or for an early application to a competition.

The programme is open to all students who have a sporting or artistic project both for students practicing a sport at a cantonal or national level or for those who have demonstrated potential in one or more disciplines, as well as for students who are simply already undertaking a high volume of sporting or artistic activities. All students who choose this programme benefit from the flexibility and advantages of the timetable offered.

The structure of the Art/Sport programme is not simply a question of adapting the timetable: it is a distinct study route supported by trained professionals who accompany the children on the road to success academically, as well as in their chosen artistic or sporting discipline.

Thanks to its network, its reputation for excellence and its history, Institut Florimont has been able to establish a network of prestigious partnerships with some of the greatest artistic and sporting institutions.

The MAMCO (The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art) and the Ariana Museum offer us the benefit of exhibiting some of their works throughout the year to inspire our students in our brand-new arts center: the Attique.

The collaboration with the OSR (l’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande) gives us the chance to share experiences with our students and to welcome this magnificent ensemble for concerts in our new auditorium.
