We had the honour of welcoming Mundiya Kepanga, a traditional chief of the Huli tribe from Papua New Guinea and a passionate advocate for the environment, for two unforgettable days.
From the moment he arrived, he joined our youngest students for a « Forest School » outing, sharing the importance of protecting trees through hands-on experience in nature. For older students, his visit included a screening of his film, engaging discussions, and the discovery of traditional objects from his country.
His time with us concluded with a public screening of « frères des arbres », followed by insightful questions from our primary and secondary students.
Thank you APEF for its invaluable support in bringing this unique project to life!
