Institut Florimont and the Villars Institute Join Forces to Promote Responsible and Sustainable Education

Building on the dialogue initiated during the visit of Yann Houry, Head of Florimont’s innovation, research and development hub, to the Global Learning Conference hosted by the Villars Institute, Institut Florimont and the Villars Institute are committing to an educational approach firmly focused on the future. This meeting provided an opportunity to deepen reflections on the educational models of tomorrow, global challenges, and the pedagogical shifts needed to prepare younger generations for a world undergoing profound transformation.

This partnership is taking shape through the participation of four Florimont pupils in the Villars Fellowship programme, an international excellence pathway designed to nurture young leaders who are equipped to understand the complexity of today’s systems and to act with responsibility and collaboration. By joining this international community, pupils will develop key competencies in leadership and sustainable engagement.

This collaboration aligns naturally with the vision of Institut Florimont, which has held Eco-Schools certification since 2020, operates with over 1,600 m² of solar panels, and is actively involved in a wide range of solidarity and sustainability projects. It reflects the school’s ambition to offer a demanding, globally minded education with real-world impact, empowering its pupils to become committed actors.
