Support and study groups
Every day teachers see their pupils before class starts at 8:20. A ten-minute period allows the teacher to speak with students about their individual needs.
In addition at the end of formal classes in the afternoon, a team of tutors supervise students who complete their homework in school.
The study groups
Supervised Study Group : a study group for students studying independently. A supervisor oversees that orderly behavior is maintained.
Supported Study Group : a study group that provides guidance for small groups with difficulties in a particular subject who need extra attention.
Assisted Study Group : a study group for students who have difficulties managing their work. They are assisted by expert teachers according to a strict work plan. Supervisors check the written work of groups of 3 or 4 students.
Senior School study groups are available to students who wish to work in a productive environment and benefit from the help of tutors.
At the end of the study group, 90% of the homework is done. The remainder is indicated in the lesson books. Pupils in the middle school can therefore finish most of their homework for the next day.
